St. Peter's takes great interest and invests much efforts and resources into its youth                                     ministry. The youth ministry continues to grow and attract not only parish youths
but also youths from the general community.

In 2005, the parish undertook the project of revitalizing its youth ministry.
With a grant from the diocese and some additional resources of the parish,
St. Peter's contracted the services of a youth minister, (The Rev. Greg Dyson),
who supervised the revitalization process.

Today, the youth ministry has taken on a new face continues to be
active with a number of on-going weekly, monthly and yearly activities.

Some of these include:

Midweek Youth fellowship night
A monthly Youth Sunday
Seasonal programs (Vaction Bible School)

St. Peter's youth ministry is open to all youths and it networks with youths of
other churches and institutions on various projects ad programs from time to time.

St. Peter's Sunday School:

The Sunday school is an aspect of St. Peter's ministry to children and youth.

The Sunday school meets at 10am at the time of the principal Sunday Mass
and is over in time for children to join their families for the Sunday Holy Eucharist.

St. Peter's currently runs a rotational teaching schedule that
allows parishioners to sign up to teach for a month or two at a time.

The Sunday school is expanding to include a variety of activities
to enhance the quality of its educational program..

For additional information or about volunteering to teach or assist in any way, please contact the church at 413-736-8567.
